This page explains how to ask us to delete the data we hold about you, what happens after you ask, and how long it takes. It is written for anyone — you do not need an account with us, and you do not need to sign in to make a request.
Cazahub is an internal workforce and business-operations application operated by Cazasouq Trading W.L.L, a company registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain. What we collect and why is set out in full in our Privacy Policy; this page deals only with deletion.
Email info@cazasouq.com with the subject line “Data deletion request”, and tell us which account or record you mean — for example the social media username you commented from, or your name and work email if you are an employee. We will confirm once the request has been carried out, and in any event within 30 days.
We may need to ask you one question back to be sure we are deleting the right person's data. That is the only reason we would reply before acting.
Cazahub includes a tool that lets our team read and reply to comments left on our own business accounts on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, in one place instead of in each platform's own app. If you have commented on one of our posts, this is the part of the system that concerns you.
We do not collect private messages, follower lists, email addresses or contact details. We do not build a profile of you, we do not use any of it for advertising or automated decision-making, and we do not sell it or pass it to anyone else.
An account is connected to Cazahub only by its owner signing in through the platform's own login screen and granting permission there. We never ask for, receive or store social media passwords. You can withdraw that permission at any time from the platform's own “Apps and websites” settings, or by emailing us.
When permission is withdrawn, we immediately delete the stored access credentials and stop retrieving anything further. That happens automatically the moment the platform tells us, without anyone here having to act on it. Comments already received are kept as ordinary business records of customer correspondence — in the same way an email from a customer would be — and are deleted on request.
You can also request deletion from inside the platform: open your Instagram or Facebook settings, find Cazahub under apps and websites, and choose to remove it and request that your data be deleted. The platform then notifies us directly. We record the request and the platform issues you a confirmation code along with a link back to this site.
If you were given a confirmation code, you can check where your request has got to at cazahub.com/data-deletion. Enter the code there, or open the link the platform gave you and it will be checked for you. That page will tell you one of three things: that the request has been received and your connection removed, that the data has been deleted, or that we held nothing for you and there was nothing to delete. It reports the status and nothing else — no account name and no platform identifier — so the code cannot be used to find out whether anyone in particular is connected to Cazahub.
Cazahub holds employment records — attendance, leave, payroll, requests, appraisals, documents you uploaded, and the account details used to sign you in. You have the right under the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Bahrain (Law No. 30 of 2018) to ask for access to that data, for it to be corrected, and for it to be deleted or blocked in certain circumstances.
Email info@cazasouq.com and we will deal with your request. Please note that some employment, payroll and accounting records must be retained for a period fixed by Bahraini law regardless of a deletion request. Where that applies, we will tell you which records we are required to keep, why, and for how long, and we will delete everything that is not covered.
Deleted data may persist for a short period in encrypted database backups before those backups age out on their normal schedule. It is not accessible or used in the meantime.
